Our Fashion Communication students is aimed focus on how fashion and clothing is communicated, promoted and creatively presented to different audiences. They have a opportunity to develop their own creative style through different projects for different markets and platforms utilising key and honed in skills for photography, styling, film, digital media and journalism.
Our honours year students have undertaken projects during their final year that showcases their knowledge of contemporary pop culture and changes in our society that are key to driving fresh and inspiring fashion concepts. Their work presents their ideas effectively and commercially. Student projects investigate contemporary social and political debate and are underpinned with sustainability and inclusivity at their core. They have produced their own Manifestos around issues including gender and identity, feminism, circular fashion, self sufficiency and social inequality; their final projects are the beginning of their next step as Agents of Change in the fashion industry.
