BA (HONS) DESIGN FOR TEXTILES

Careless Summer

My Honours project aims to explore the vibrancy and movement of summer wildflowers captured over Summer of 2020, into blankets that could be used for interiors or as an extra layer. I like to use bright colours to explore joy and hope. Nature poems have had a big influence on me in the last year, and I’ve tried to infuse that hopefulness into my work. Ideally I would want someone to see my project and feel the warmth and contentment of a careless summer.
