BA (HONS) FASHION

emoSPHERE

emoSPHERE is a womenswear collection designed for A/W 21-22, Inspired by my own emotionally challenging lockdown experience.

After engaging into a process of visualisation of my own feelings in order to develop prints, patterns and graphics that could help me tell this story, I then proceeded to analyse garments that make me feel better emotionally, to extrapolate their comforting features and mix them up with trends related to the change of clothing habits induced by Covid-19. Comprising a mix of fashionable basics and statement/eye-catching pieces, this collection aims to provide a range of garments into which the wearer could retreat to find physical and emotional comfort while also feeling confident and looking good.

Specifically targeted to lockdown remote workers fighting against isolation but usable by anyone experiencing the same conditions, this collection hopes to shed light on the strong connection between fashion and its wearer’s inner sphere and the necessity to explore this tie further.

Garments designed to navigate life challenging times.
